2024 KTM 390 Duke Unveiled With Revised Styling, Bigger Engine, Extra Tech

KTM has officially unveiled the all-new 2024 KTM 390 Duke. The third-gen 390 Duke gets an all-new design, new equipment and a new and larger capacity engine.

In terms of design, the 2024 KTM 390 Duke features a new split-style headlamp along with tank shrouds that look larger and more muscular than the previous model. The motorcycle also gets a new split seat setup with an exposed rear subframe and will come with a T-shaped taillamp. The design of the fuel tank has also been revised.

The new Duke also gets a larger 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, however, the power figures are yet to be revealed. It gets a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch and quick-shifter. KTM claims the new engine has more power and is smoother.  It also features an improved gearbox, a larger airbox and a new aluminium swingarm.

Aside from this, the new 390 Duke gets more riding aids from KTM. It now comes with launch control, ride modes (Street, Rain and Track) and a five-inch TFT to monitor all the settings. Other features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and music control will also be available.

In terms of hardware, the 2024 KTM 390 Duke will feature a new powder-coated steel trellis frame with a 43 mm WP Apex front fork with compression and rebound adjustability (150 mm travel) and a rear monoshock with five-step rebound and preload adjustability (150 mm wheel travel). Braking duties will be handled by a new 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with dual-channel, cornering and supermoto ABS. The bike gets a seat height of 820mm which can be reduced to 800mm.
